Oct. 2010 86,000 miles
This is the second ZX3 focus I've owned.
I really liked the first one.
I fell in love with the second.
I believe that every so often, a car comes along that really epitimize an era.
1965 had it's Mustang, 2000 had the ZX3 Focus.
Only 14,003 of SVT version were made between 2002 and 2004.
My guess is that there are less than 10K left on the road today.
I made a decision that I was going to keep this car and replace what was needed.
Being in southern California makes this easier.
Some of the simpler things I tackled my self.
I slowly worked up to harder stuff with the help of
Focusfanatics & Focaljet.
As I went along the mod bug bit hard.
So did life's changes: getting married, buying property…
It's been 8 years since I first drove this baby,
she's looking weathered and road rashed.
Brakes are about ready to be serviced and the dampers are shot.
But aside from wear, she's been running like a champ.
So after a long mod hiatus
I'm back, crazy as ever.
The overhaul has begun
